As the Sports Club is an entirely voluntary and non-profit organisation, please note that all donations are welcome - either large or small - with materials or services being equally as important and welcome as any financial support, and all sponsorship will receive full recognition in due course.
Likewise, any new ideas or initiatives for fund raising are always welcome - appreciating that fund raising is ever harder in the current economic climate.
Finally, in order to maximise the benefit of individual donations, please consider completing and returning a Gift Aid form so that the Sports Club can claim additional funding from HMRC - please contact the Club Treasurer (see Contacts page).
The Sports Club was delighted to receive substantial funding from the Premier League & F.A. Facilities Fund, via the Football Foundation, towards the cost of the Community Clubhouse at the Wellsborough Road sports ground.
Costing nearly half-a-million pounds, the building features four changing rooms and a function room for social events and hire. The Club has worked closely with Leicestershire and Rutland Football Association and also received generous grants from Sport England and The Dixie Educational Trust towards this hugely ambitious project.
Support from the local community and businesses is vital to pursue further related projects, with the Sports Club now able to host various community social and leisure activties and events at the Clubhouse and ground facilities - the list is steadily increasing so please keep a watchful eye on the local press for further details of all functions at the Clubhouse, especially any Fund Raising events.
